KnotJot

Voice typing

To type what you say, this browser needs to send your voice to its maker (Google for Chrome, Microsoft for Edge). Only your voice goes, and only while 🎤 is on. Your notes stay here.

Auto-sort rules

A note that is not in a folder goes into the folder when it is saved with the word in it. Notes already in a folder stay put, and Undo keeps a note out for good. Notes shared with you are never moved.

No rules yet. Example: invoice → Money, or #work → Work.

Locked notes

A locked note is encrypted on this device with your lock password. Nobody can read it without the password or your recovery code: not KnotJot, not Google. One password opens all your locked notes. Folder and pin stay visible in the list.

AI with your own key

KnotJot sends a note's text to the AI you pick, only when you click Summary or Ask. Your key stays in this browser and goes only to that provider. Use a key with a spending limit.

Share

People you share with can send this note to their own AI. Removing someone stops their access from then on; a copy they already opened stays with them.
